IowaWines.org is an electronic marketing communications initiative designed to help Iowa’s wine industry grow and prosper. We consolidate all relevant consumer information about Iowa’s wine industry and its wineries at this website where it’s easy for consumers who are interested in wine to learn everything they need to know to enjoy a trip to vineyards and wineries across Iowa.

IowaWines.org is a joint effort by two native Iowans - Denny Ver Mulm and Rich Collins. Both of us provide marketing communications and consulting services to small business throughout Iowa and the Midwest. We started IowaWines.org for a number of reasons.

As Iowans, we are proud of our state's heritage. We want more people to learn about Iowa's history as a grape and wine producer and about the Iowa entrepreneurs who are bringing the wine industry back to life after years of dormancy.

We started IowaWines.org because we think that Iowa’s wines should become as much a part of our state's agricultural fabric as the corn, pork, eggs, soybeans, and beef for which most people around the country know us best.

We started IowaWines because we are small businessmen ourselves, and we know how challenging it is for a small business to focus on its core mission and still find time and resources for all the marketing that's needed to grow and succeed. We think that the tools and techniques we use to help grow other small Iowa businesses can give Iowa wineries the edge they need to succeed in growing their business, too.

Finally, we started IowaWines.org because we are native Iowans. We live here, and we've succeeded here. IowaWines.org is an opportunity for us to help the industrious entrepreneurs of Iowa's wine industry to succeed here, too.
